Randy Rhoads Jackson Guitar. This is a video of Randy Rhoads actual Jackson Pinstripe Flying V guitar. On September 28th, 2005 @ CSUN in Northridge, Ca. Ms. Rhoads made available to the public a viewing of Randy’s Pinstripe V. I rolled down there with my video camera. Randy’s guitar was there on display behind glass for about 2 weeks. This was to coincide with CSUN opening a new muscial wing which also included a museum type setting that has old instruments of all sorts dating back to the 1700′s. This was also the day the names for that years RR musical classical guitar scholarships were announced. After the formal ceremonies were done outisde on the lawn,an Ozzy band played Crazy Train in honor of Randy Rhoads. Then everyone moved into the new wing devoted for music in the huge Cal State library. This was the first Jackson guitar made, 1980-81. Randy Rhoads was the guitar player for Ozzy Osbourne’s “BLIZZARD OF OZZ” band & founder/former member of LA rock band Quiet Riot. Randy Rhoads – One of the best musical/metal guitarists to ever live. Gd Bless Randy & The Rhoads family. Filmed by Jeff Brent – RHOADS TO OZZ

22. July 2011 at 8:47 am

22. July 2011 at 9:15 am
@ksmons Very few people have ever told sharon to “go fuck herself”
22. July 2011 at 10:10 am
@vanhalenclone231 maybe they loaned out to a museum
22. July 2011 at 10:45 am

22. July 2011 at 11:39 am
NONONONONOOO Its not in anything the only people who have the actual Rhoads guitars are his family. They own all of his guitars, nice try though
22. July 2011 at 11:53 am

22. July 2011 at 12:04 pm

22. July 2011 at 12:20 pm
thank you for posting this… I enjoyed it very much. Wish I can attend a similar next event…
22. July 2011 at 12:38 pm
@ksmons ….thats so true!! I would also tell the talentless fuckin cunt that is Sharon Osbourne to fuck off too!! She and her fat kids have made a career out of Ozzy!! Ozzy is a stupid clueless dickhead that is allowing his family to take the piss out of him!
22. July 2011 at 1:28 pm
According the Rhoads family the black tape was to conceal the bright white color while sitting on stage, when not in use. Sharon Osbourne wanted nothing visible other than stage props. No amps, no guitars. Personally I would have told her to fuck herself if she asked me to put tape on my guitars.
22. July 2011 at 1:40 pm
i instantly respect you
22. July 2011 at 2:26 pm
@eramir228 The tape was used because when Randy would walk out onstage with Rudy Sarzzo the white outline of his guitar would give away his grand entrance to the stage. Thus, to conceal the big surprise (which was Randy himself) he would turn the guitar face down and then flip it nomally so he could start the songs! Hope that helps! p.s – check out some of my vids!

I say goodbye to romance, Goodbye to friends I tell you, Goodbye to all the past, I guess that we’ll meet, We’ll meet in the end.
Miss you Randy. RIP
22. July 2011 at 5:07 pm
Awesome vid thank you so much rip Randy
22. July 2011 at 5:55 pm
@eramir228 The tape on the back was so that before he started playing, he could be on stage and flip the guitar over and nobody in the crowd would know he was on stage. Back on the Diary Of A Madman Tour he would be behind this Cage thing wiith all his amps and then he would come out after the drum intro to Over The Mountain
22. July 2011 at 6:29 pm
What was the point of the tape on the back?
22. July 2011 at 7:00 pm

22. July 2011 at 8:47 pm
@DylanBStringer91 Yes different guitars, but this white guitar that Randy Rhoads used is the first Jackson guitar and first Randy Rhoads model at the history,it’s not just a Charvel with Jackson logo on it…
22. July 2011 at 9:43 pm
@tamerabi2007 They’re Under The Same Company, But Totally Different Guitars!!!
22. July 2011 at 10:04 pm
@DylanBStringer91 Do you think that Charvel and Jackson are different companies ?It’s Jackson/Charvel JCMI
