Try doing a college search. I used Princeton Review a lot, you fill out the questionnaire and they suggest reach, match, and safety schools that fill your criteria. I found it immensely useful.
Also, apparently the average high school GPA for Gettysburg College is 3.5, but it seems like schools are reporting their average hs GPAs lately.
