Also, is your school trying to incorporate that new laccd card for recieving financial aid?
It’s called a Higher One checking card.
I don’t like the new system they’re incorporating at my school with THEIR checking card. There’s so many limitations.
I prefer the direct deposit they were doing before where you can handle your money in your own checking account and get it the same day.

Yes I go to school online and my school deposits your refund on that card.

School starts on the 23rd of August, the school gets the money on the 12th of August and it will be in my bank no later than the 17th of August. My school does either checks or direct deposit.

My school’s disbursement date is aug 11th, and class start aug 23rd. I haven’t heard anything about getting the Higher One checking card. If you have financial aid waiting to be disbursed my school does not require you to make any payments to your account until the financial aid is deducted. I always do direct deposit for the extra money and I usually get it in my account on the day of disbursement or the next. My school disburses early enough that I have time to get my books and other supplies so I don’t even think a Higher One checking card would be that helpful.
