Do you get less social security if you start getting financial aid for school?

Financial Aid

I get social security and now i’m getting financial aid to help me out with books and things i really need because school is expensive. Will i get less social security now because of the help i’m getting from financial aid?

    Speak to your case worker. Some agencies view pell refunds as disposable income. But, probably no change to be honest with you.

    If you get social security because of a disability, claiming the disability would suggest you wouldn’t have the need for a college education under the auspices of getting a job.
