Talk to the school you want to go to. Tell them that you really want to go there but money is an issure. a lot of schools will find money to give you. I got a 31,000 dollar scholarship from my school. hope this helps

There are all kinds of unique scholarships. I blog about scholarships at my site (see source). Many of these scholarships go unawarded because no one steps forward who meets the criteria.
The best way to find these “low hanging fruit” scholarships is to sign up for a free data base service that alerts you to scholarships you match for. The companies have you fill out a profile and then they email you with scholarships that match your characteristics. I give some examples of this on my blog.
Don’t pay for these services or access to the databases though. The companies have plenty of ways to make money without you forking over $50 or more for access. You shouldn’t ever have to pay money to access scholarship information.
