Abe Lincoln wanted to change the constitution to allow black men to be free. People said no, and Abe said yes, I stand for the people. Civil war broke out and Abe won, and black men went free. We kill billions of human babies each year. More here in America than anywhere else. Mike Huckabee is humane and has morales. We should learn to love, not ****. We should strive to be more like Mike Huckabee.

Maybe he is a forgiving individual. Besides, clemency doesn’t mean he will necessarily erase a penalty; it can also include a shortening of a sentence or a more generous form of punishment. People say he is un-Christian but being merciful even to your enemies is surprisingly one of those things Jesus seemed to like.

Huckabee is running a positive campaign only on the surface. He did nothing to end the push polling being done in his name and attacked Thompson personally in order to avoid Thompson’s valid criticisms of him.

Uh, no. We should strive to be like Christ, not the charlatan Mike Huckabee. Huckabee is a known liar, even on the issue of abortion. Before he began his bid for the nomination, he held the position that abortion should be outlawed by the states alone, the same position he hypocritically attacked Fred Thompson over. Now he denies ever holding the position even though it’s all over the public record.

He cares more about criminals than victums. He said that Lois Davidson whose daughter was murdered by Wayne Dumond was being used for political purposes. He had no compassion for the loss of Lois’s daughter — not what a real Christian would do.

Your history is quite faulty.

The civil war wasn’t about slavery but about secession. The Southern states thought they could leave the Union when they wanted, and decided they would, believing the national government had too much power over the states. During the civil war, the South petitioned the British for aid. Britain took this seriously, and so did Abe. He gave the Emancipation Proclamation and Britain quickly backed out (having already abolished slavery there).
