Does anyone know how to calculate your gpa on an 8-point scale in hs.
I tried dividing each grade in a sample 8 point by 2 but it didn’t mach the 4 point.

A’s are 8 points.
F’s are 0.
Scale the letters inbetween and do some math

take what you got on a 4 point scale and multiply it by 2

each school calculates this differently, It averages to two points for every grade , some schools average in plus and minus grades. as an extra or penalty but that is up to the school.

There’s no such thing as an 8-point scale, nor a GPA in excess of 4.0. Anything that tries to deviate from this is a corruption.
That said, your school officials are the only ones that can properly answer this question. No one here knows what in the world your school is doing, not if they have an 8-point scale.
