I need to know how I can calculate my college GPA. I’ve looked at calculators on a search, but all the ones I’ve seen have a + or – grading scale, and my college doesn’t do that. It also needs to be based on the number of credit hours each class counts for.
Because the semester isn’t over yet and I’m trying to predict what my GPA will be for scholarship reasons, that’s why I don’t just ask for a transcript.

Why not just go to your college and ask for a transcript.

A = 4, B = 3, C = 2, D = 1, F = 0
if a class is 3 credits and you get an A it is 3×4 = 12 grade points.
so for 15 hours (5 – 3 credit classes) and you get 2 – A’s, 2 – B’s and 1- C then you would have 4×3 + 4×3 + 3×3 + 3×3 + 2×3 which is 12 + 12 + 9 + 9 + 6 = 48 grade points then you divide it by the 15 credit hours. which is a 3.2 GPA
hope that helps.

My school is the same way with the grading scale. They have supplied us with a website that does it for you as long as you know the quality hours and projected grade.
