    Scholarship money that you use to pay for Tuition, Fees, Books, and Supplies in NOT taxable if you are a degree candidate. If you are not a degree candidate, then it is all taxable.

    Most people with scholarships are degree candidates, so you are probably fine. No need to include any part of your scholarship as taxable income.
