Ok, to calculate the GPA you have to get the actual points in each class. For example, in chemistry you might have an “A” in the class which equal a 3.0 or 4.0.
An ‘a’ equals a 4
‘b’ equals a 3
‘c’ equals a 2
‘d’ equals a 1
and ‘f’ equals 0
You first sum all the points in all your classes and then divide by the number of classes that you have.
I’m going to give you my GPA as an example:
Period 1 (English 3 Honors) 3.94
Period 2 (AP Chemistry) 4.00
Period 3 (TV Production) 4.00
Period 4 (AP Calculus) 3.26
Period 5 (Algebra 2 Honors) 4.00
Period 6 (CCC Class) 4.00
Period 7 (American History Honors) 4.00
Period 8 (Cosmetology 3) 4.00
so therefore, what you do here is count all the points and divide by thenumber of classes. (I have 8 periods)
The highest GPA is a 4.0, my GPA is a 3.9
