as far as kenyon university, your scores are WELL within range

SAT Critical Reading: 620 – 730
SAT Math: 610 – 700
SAT Writing: 620 – 710
what you should do to solidify your admission, try taking some SAT subject tests

Your SAT score is not bad at all and you have a very good GPA, so I think Kenyon would be a great choice. One of my teachers at school went to Kenyon too. If you play sports or if you are a leader of any known clubs or your class that would help also.

Start applying, you will never know if you don’t apply. Also, call the schools and ask to speak to a student, or one of the call center associates you talk to will most likely be a student of the University. Ask what they’re opinion is of the school if you are unsure. But, regardless of what you do, you need to get those papers moving, and the information in your hads so that you are able to make the best decision for yourself.
As far as your scores go…your in the running, and community service is always a plus, it makes you a more sociable and practical person which means you will relate better to your peers and instructors.

Yay Kenyon. It’s a true hidden gem of a college. Your scores and grades are right in there. Kenyon also likes geographic diversity and nonacademic involvement. You might also ask to speak to a professor in the area of your interests (ie humanities says or English in particular). Kenyon is known for the personal touch, and that includes the teachers (no TA’s in sight at Kenyon!). Good luck to you.

Your math score is a little weak, (for my standards), but your reading and writing are great. You could always retake it in October if you want but it is not necessary if your focused on only Kenyon. You should be able to get in.
